I thought Big Sandwich Day was awesome. It was much better than last year's Big Sandwich Day (remember all that fuss about the bad olive loaf?). I thought Sandra Forklift's original song about the meaning of Big Sandwich Day was particularly moving. Sandra Forklift, will you marry me?

I wish you'd gotten a shot of the big sandwich - it made this appetizer sandwich look like a little tiny puny baby sandwich.
next year we should tie together big sandwich day and sliced meat day into one big weekend event.
I worry that if we combine Big Sandwich Day with Sliced Meat Day that it will take the specialness out of each of the days- kind of what happened when we combined Washington's Birthday with Lincoln's Birthday or when we combined Labor Day with Vomit Day- it just makes it so generic.
